MyGovSpecs is a community-focused online service helping eligible Queenslanders access government-funded eyewear through the MASS scheme. We handle the paperwork, so you don’t have to.
1. What you need to submit:
📷 A picture of the front and back of your concession card
📄 A valid spectacle prescription (with Add, and Prism if required)
👁 Pupillary distance (PD) – or upload a selfie holding your concession card on your forehead
2. What happens next:
We will review and process your application. You’ll receive two pairs of single vision glasses (one for near, one for distance), delivered to your door.
⏱ Approximate waiting time: 4–6 weeks depending on processing and postal times.
Remake policy: If your glasses need adjustments, you’ll need to visit the original optometrist to get a new prescription and PD, then email us through mygovspecs@outlook.com
3. Frame Options
We offer MASS-approved frames. Choose your preferred frame for reading and distance. Each applicant can select two frames, and you can select like the following options:
1x single vision distance & 1x single vision near (most recommended for daily use)
2x single vision distance
2x single vision near
